Mr. Bloom is a Certified
Specialist in California
Worker’s Compensation Law. He
has been practicing in this
field of law for nearly 30
years. His staff is fully
bilingual in Spanish and English
to accommodate the needs of
today’s California workers. The
firm is well trained in recent
revisions of the Labor Code
affecting injured workers’
entitlements.
Disability Retirement Litigation
For over 25 years, Mr. Bloom has
represented individuals pursuing
disability retirement benefits
through the Public Employees’
Retirement System (PERS), the
Retirement Act of 1937 (CERL)
and the State Teachers
Retirement System (STRS). A
regular part of Mr. Bloom’s
litigation practice advocates
for members of these pension
systems who have been “left out
in the cold” by decisions made
without injured worker input.

assists pensioners in having “a
say” in what benefits they are
entitled to.
