John A. Bloom

John
A. Bloom, Esq. has been
practicing law in California for
nearly 30 years and is a
Certified Specialist in Workers’
Compensation Law. Mr. Bloom was
educated in New York where he
achieved a BA degree from State
University of New York, Albany
in 1973. He studied law in
Southern California where he
earned the degree of Juris
Doctor from Southwestern
University School of Law in
1976. He began his practice
representing insurance companies
and self insured employers. For
the past 25 years, he has
represented injured workers in
the Bay Area. Mr. Bloom has been
a pro tem Judge in workers’
compensation and frequently
serves on legal education panels
all over California. A
longstanding member of the
California Applicants’ Attorneys
Association, Mr. Bloom believes
in the association’s mission -
to advance the interests of
injured workers in California.
He also serves as legal advisor,
and is a member of the Board of
Directors for Northbay Worker’s
Compensation, an organization
comprised of lawyers, doctors,
claims representatives and
vocational experts working in
the field of workers’
compensation.
Mr. Bloom’s practice also
specializes in the complex
litigation and medical issues of
injured workers who have
suffered catastrophic injuries.
Over the past thirty years, he
has served the role of advocate
for scores of individuals whose
very living and existence hangs
in the balance of the
intervention of experienced
legal counsel.
